Man charged with attempted murder after shots fired in Eastern Passage

A 24-year-old Eastern Passage man is facing a charge of attempted murder along with weapons offences after shots were fired in Eastern Passage Saturday morning.

No one was injured in the incident

A 24-year-old man has been charged with attempted murder along with weapons offences after gunshots were fired at a vehicle and a home in Eastern Passage, said RCMP.

Police were called to the Cedar Lane area around 3 a.m. Saturday morning.

A suspect fled the scene when officers arrived, but the Eastern Passage man was later arrested at a home on Pine Street, according to the RCMP.

No one was injured in the incident.

The man, who is also charged with mischief and uttering threats, is set to appear in Dartmouth provincial court on Tuesday.
