Arrest made in Halifax bank break-in
A 26-year-old man police suspect of breaking into a downtown Halifax bank last week has been arrested after he turned himself in Wednesday night.
Earlier in the day, Halifax Regional Police released video surveillance pictures of a suspect they said broke the glass partition at an ATM and then got into the RBC at 5161 George St.
The break-in happened around 1:45 a.m. on Oct. 17.
A Whycocomagh man turned himself into the Waycobah RCMP detachment in Cape Breton Wednesday night. Police expect to charge him with break and enter.
