One of North America's oldest running newspapers — a Nova Scotian publication — has new owners.
Brace Capital Ltd., a printing and publishing company, announced Friday that it has acquired The Casket, a weekly newspaper in Antigonish.
The Casket has been in operation for 160 years.
Brace Capital's owner, Sarah Dennis, also owns Halifax's The Chronicle Herald through a separate company.
The terms of the acquisition of The Casket have not been released.
