Annapolis Valley fatal house fire not foul play, say RCMP
The deceased is a 24-year-old male
Foul play is not suspected after a body was found in a burned out trailer on Welch Road, just south of Wolfville, on Thursday morning, say Nova Scotia RCMP.
At around 6 a.m., emergency crews were called to a mobile home engulfed in flames. The structure was destroyed, said RCMP Sgt. Al LeBlanc.
Six family members were displaced after the fire, says the Canadian Red Cross.
It says the deceased was a 24-year-old male family member who lived in the smaller of two trailers located on the site.
The fire destroyed a small travel trailer and then spread to an adjacent mobile home.
Police confirmed human remains were found inside the trailer.
The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
