A third person is facing charges in connection with the death of Corey Duane Lucas this spring, the Halifax Regional Police say.

Simon Peter Dugas, 27, was arrested without incident at the Stanfield International Airport on Monday, Const. Brian Palmeter said in a release.

Dugas is scheduled to appear in Halifax Provincial Court on Tuesday to face charges of first-degree murder and attempted murder.

Corey Duane Lucas was fatally shot at an apartment on Clifton Street in Halifax's north end on May 25.

William Hawes-Boliver, 31, was shot in the leg and taken to hospital with non-life threatening injuries, but was later released.

A man and woman already face charges in the shooting.

Dylan Peter Roach, 20, has been charged with first-degree murder in Lucas's death and attempted murder. Jenna Karlene Piercy, 27, has been charged with accessory after the fact in Lucas's death.
