Three stolen vehicles ended up in ditches in Nova Scotia this weekend.

Police say someone stole the vehicles overnight Saturday along Highway 1 in Three Miles Plains, Newport Station and St. Croix.

Police have not arrested anyone over the thefts, but they did point to a possible connection. At about 6:30 p.m. Sunday, Windsor RCMP got a report of a missing 19-year-old man from Mount Uniacke.

“At 7:05 p.m. the missing man was located in the woods by his friends within the area of where police recovered the last stolen vehicle,” said Cpl Don Dignan. “The male had serious injuries and was transported by EHS paramedics to the QEII.”

Police continue to investigate the thefts.
