Three teens are facing theft, possession of stolen property and trespassing charges after a series of vehicle break-ins early Tuesday morning in Bedford.

Halifax Regional Police were called to Shaffleburg Run around 1:50 a.m. after a witness saw three people breaking into vehicles.

A police dog tracked the suspects and officers arrested an 18-year-old man on Nottingham Street and a second 18-year-old man on Rocky Lake Drive.

A 16-year-old boy was arrested later at his North Street residence in Bedford.

Officers recovered some stolen property and police say four vehicles were broken into.

The three suspects were released from custody and will appear in Halifax provincial court at a later date.
