2 ocean beaches closed due to high bacteria levels
Two seaside beaches are closed to swimming because of high bacteria levels.
Nova Scotia's Department of Health closed Bayswater Beach in Lunenburg County and the Halifax Regional Municipality shutdown Government Wharf beach in Musquodoboit Harbour to swimming.
High levels of bacteria are also keeping swimmers landlocked at Campbell Point Beach on Hatchet Lake.
Officials with the department say that beach will reopen when water testing shows it's safe.
