Two women made two amazing shots at a Cape Breton Screaming Eagles game Saturday — winning $10,000 and a new truck.
The double miracle on ice happened during the intermission contests.
First, Karie Shaw of Glace Bay nailed a shot from centre ice into an eight-centimetre hole in a board covering the net to win $10,000.
A few minutes later, Megan Laffin of Florence stepped up for a difficult shot where she slid the puck from one corner face-off dot all the way down and across the ice to the opposite face-off dot.
She hit it perfectly and won a Ford F-150 from MacDonald Auto Group.
