1 dead in Hwy. 103 crash
A 31-year-old Halifax-area man is dead following a single-motor vehicle accident Sunday on Highway 103 near Tantallon.
RCMP confirmed the accident happened at about 9:15 a.m. Sunday between exits 3 and 4 outbound. The man was the only occupant.
RCMP said weather conditions were good at the time.
"The vehicle ended up basically in the median, it was outbound, so it was on the median on the left hand side," said Sgt. Brigdit Leger.
Traffic was temporarily diverted to St. Margarets Bay Road.
Leger said that portion of the highway reopened at about 1 p.m.
