Yukon RCMP are looking for a 43-year-old Liard First Nation man reported missing by his family.
Gregory Hrenyk was last seen in Watson Lake in October 2009, hitchhiking south on the Alaska Highway. He had stated that he was leaving town to visit some friends.
Police say he has spent time in the Lower Mainland of British Columbia in the past, specifically in the Downtown Eastside of Vancouver. He may also go by the names Gregg Hrenyk, Gregg Caesar, or Gregory Caesar.
Hrenyk has not had any contact with his family since 2009. He is described as 5’3” tall, 119 lbs with black hair and brown eyes.
RCMP ask anyone who has seen Hrenyk in the last five years or who has information that may help to locate him to contact the Watson Lake detachment at 867-536-2677.
They also urge anyone who is concerned that someone has gone missing to contact police. There is no waiting period to report a missing person.
