Yukon man dies in truck crash on Wolverine Mine road
A Whitehorse man is dead after a single vehicle accident Wednesday evening on the Wolverine Mine access road.
Ross River RCMP say a loaded ore truck heading for Watson Lake left the road and went over the side of a steep embankment.
The driver, 46-year-old Pierre Tremblay, died at the scene.
Police say alcohol was not involved.
The RCMP, Workers' Compensation Health and Safety Board, the Yukon Coroner and Transport Canada are investigating the accident.
