Yellowknife's Dustin Milligan has made it to the big screen once again.

His new movie, Sequoia, tells the story of a 23-year-old cancer victim, who plans to take her own life.

That is, until she meets Milligan's character, Ogden.

Milligan stars alongside Aly Michalka from the show Two and a Half Men.

Sequoia premiered earlier this month as an Official Selection at the South by Southwest Film Festival in Austin Texas.

Milligan moved from Yellowknife to Vancouver at the age of 18 and landed his first acting gig in a matter of weeks.

Since then, he’s appeared in many films including “In The Land of Women” and “The Messengers” starring Kristen Stewart, Mike Judge's "Extract", "Shark Night 3D", and Season One of “90210″.

This year he’ll also premiere his writing/producing debut, “Bad City.”
