Yellowknife RCMP are seeking the public’s assistance to find a man charged with attempted murder.
Tyson Ruben-Bucher, 18, has been charged in connection with a stabbing at the Fort Gary Apartments on Gitzel Street last week. A warrant has been issued for his arrest.
Police are urging Ruben-Bucher to turn himself in at the local RCMP detachment.
They are asking the public not to approach the suspect, as he’s known to be violent, but to contact police if you see him or know his whereabouts.
Police have not yet provided a photograph of Ruben-Bucher. But he is described as an aboriginal male, weighing 141 pounds, five feet 10 inches tall, with black hair and brown eyes.
The RCMP have two adults and two young persons in custody with charges stemming from the same incident. Police say the names of the four people charged will not be released until all involved have been dealt with.
Anyone with information on this case is asked to contact the Yellowknife RCMP at 669-1111 or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477.
