Some Yellowknife residents have been experiencing problems receiving their mail over the past few weeks.

Canada Post says the problems stem from a staffing shortage and several delivery routes have been affected.

Parcel delivery has not been affected, as Canada Post uses third party carriers.

Canada Post says efforts are being made to resolve the problem as soon as possible. Priority has been given to delivering Old Age Security payments.
