Yukon's Air North will fly between Whitehorse, Yellowknife and Ottawa on Sundays, Mondays and Thursdays starting Feb. 6.

The airline announced the new route in November, but recently unveiled the flight schedule.

On Sundays, the Boeing 737 flight will run from Whitehorse to Ottawa, with a 40 minute stop in Yellowknife. On Mondays, it will make the reverse trip. On Thursdays, the plane will make a round trip.

Flight time between the two territorial capitals will be one hour, 35 minutes.

The airline is expected to announce the cost of fares on Friday, when seats on the flights become available for booking.
