A Whitehorse man is facing charges of luring a child over the internet after police received a complaint from a parent over the weekend.

RCMP say a second victim was found as a result of the investigation.

Billy Callahan-Smith, 18, is facing charges including luring a child and making sexually explicit material available to a child.

RCMP say they are continuing their investigation in order to determine if any other children were similarly approached online.

It is the second recent charge of internet luring in the Yukon.

On April 16, RCMP charged Gary William Matheson, 30, of Pelly Crossing with luring a 13-year-old Whitehorse girl.
