Whitehorse man charged in snowmobile death
A 37-year-old Whitehorse man has been charged in connection with a fatal snowmobile crash that killed another man over the weekend.
Trevor Castagner has been charged with dangerous driving and impaired driving causing death in the Jan. 1 death of Tim Bierlmeier, 40.
Whitehorse RCMP did not release many details about the crash, except to say it took place on Rainbow Road in Whitehorse's Crestview neighbourhood.
After Castagner was arrested, he was taken into custody and held overnight. He has since been released on bail and is scheduled to appear in court later this month.
