Whitehorse man charged with aggravated assault on Inuvik woman
Corey Domenichini, 52, charged; woman treated for serious injuries

A 52-year-old Whitehorse man has been charged with aggravated assault, after a woman was injured in Inuvik this week.
RCMP say they received a report at about 3 a.m. on Tuesday that a woman was injured.
She was treated on the scene and then transported to the Inuvik Regional Hospital with serious injuries, according to an RCMP news release.
Police have arrested and charged Corey Domenichini with aggravated assault.
Domenichini is expected to make a court appearance in Yellowknife on Friday.
