No one was reported injured, after the Whitehorse fire department responded to a fire in Clippers Barbershop just after 7:30 p.m. Friday.

The barbershop is in a multi-unit building on Fourth Avenue near Wood Street. Other occupants of the building called the fire department after they smelled smoke and heard the alarm.

"We opened up the wall just to make sure there was no extension in behind, but there wasn't so we were able to extinguish the fire quickly."
