The market's manager Colin O'Neill says people who attend on Saturdays will see many new and different vendors.

"Having it on Saturday will allow people who can't make Thursday markets to have a new venue," he said. "So it will look and feel different."

O'Neill says he hopes the Saturday market will appeal to visitors to the city as well as Whitehorse residents. The market will run from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. every Saturday at Shipyards Park until the end of September.
