Three people are facing charges after RCMP in Tulita, N.W.T., seized 77 bottles of vodka on Saturday in the alcohol-restricted community. 

Police seized 75 375-ml bottles of vodka, a 750-ml bottle of Vodka, a 1-litre bottle of Vodka and 12 750-ml cans of beer.

Tulita liquor restrictions allow for a possession limit of 1,140 ml of spirits — about three 375-ml bottles.

Three people from Tulita have been charged under N.W.T. Liquor Act and are scheduled to appear in Justice of the Peace court Nov. 12 in Tulita.
