Trial date set in Cambridge Bay triple murder case
A trial date has been set for a man charged in connection with a triple murder in Cambridge Bay in 2007.
Chris Bishop, 27, faces three counts of second degree murder and two counts of attempted murder.
In 2010, he was convicted on all charges but that verdict was thrown out in January by the Nunavut Court of Appeal.
Bishop's new jury trial will start on Sept. 2, 2014. It is scheduled to last three weeks.
He remains in custody. He was denied bail in July.
