Tourist who died in Yukon had no drugs, alcohol in system

The toxicology results on a Japanese woman who was found dead in the Takihini Hot Springs near Whitehorse show that the woman had no alcohol or drugs in her system when she died.

The toxicology results on a Japanese woman who was found dead in the Takhini Hot Springs near Whitehorse are in.

Kiyoko Nagasaki, 72, was found floating in the hot springs in the early morning of Feb. 7.

The results shows there were no prescribed or illicit drugs or alcohol in her system.

A final report from the coroner’s office is pending.
