Teslin, Yukon house fire leaves family homeless

A Teslin, Yukon family is homeless after a fire gutted their home Tuesday night.

Fire Chief James Smarch says the fire started around 9 p.m. He says the house was engulfed in flames by the time fire-fighters arrived.

No one was injured in the blaze.

Smarch says the fire marshal has been called in to investigate the cause of the fire.

A fundraising effort is being planned to help the family.
