A team of so-called Google trekkers is on a mission to put Nunavut on the map.
The internet giant has a team walking through the city streets to gather images for its Google Maps service.
Wearing high-tech backpacks each equipped with 13 cameras, the trekkers are capturing 360-degree panoramic views of the territory's snowy capital.
Team member Chris Kalluk said he is working on the project "to show people we exist up here in Canada's north."
CBC's Emily Ridlington tells the story.
