Nunavik singer-songwriter Elisapie Isaac has been nominated for a Juno Award.

Isaac, who now goes simply by the name Elisapie, is one of the nominees for “Breakthrough Artist of the Year."

Her second solo album, “Travelling Love,” was released in October.

Isaac is originally from Salluit, Que. She won a Juno for Aboriginal Recording of the Year in 2005 when she was part of the group Taima.

The Juno awards ceremony will be held on April 21 in Regina. Vancouver crooner Michael Buble will host the event.
