Worker struck in the face and cash stolen from register

A man robbed the Yellowknife Co-op's gas bar at around 7:30 a.m. Thursday, striking an employee in the face and making off with less than $200 in cash. (CBC)A man robbed the Yellowknife Co-op's gas bar at around 7:30 a.m. Thursday, striking an employee in the face and making off with less than $200 in cash.
The employee was taken to Stanton Territorial Hospital with minor injuries.
The whole thing was caught on tape by a security camera and police are reviewing the video.
