Qulliq Energy officials will not face charges
RCMP close investigation into use of employees at personal property

The RCMP say no charges will be laid against two officials at the Qulliq Energy Corporation.
Police investigated allegations against Qulliq president Peter Mackey and former lines supervisor Grant Penney that they used employees to work on their personal property to build a retaining wall.
“Our federal operations members conducted interviews and explored all avenues of investigation in regards to this incident," said Nunavut RCMP Sgt. Kevin Lewis.
"There does not appear to be any wrongdoing on the part of the QEC employees that would warrant any charges to be laid."
Lewis said the case is now closed.
