RCMP are investigating the death of a 17-year-old girl in Hall Beach, Nunavut, early Saturday morning.
V Division Major Crimes Unit and Forensic Identification Section officers from Iqaluit are heading to the community.
RCMP say the investigation is in a very early stage and details are limited. They say more information will be released when it is available.
Hall Beach, located on the Melville Peninsula, has a population of 546.
