Arviat, Nunavut, elder killed in ATV accident
Man pinned by machine while moving it into shed

An Arviat man died Tuesday evening after an accident involving an ATV.
Murray Ugyuk, 70, was trying to move an ATV into a shed when he was pinned by the machine.
RCMP were called and Ugyuk was taken to the local health centre but efforts to resuscitate him were unsuccessful.
"The community of Arviat is obviously deeply saddened by Mr. Ugyuk's loss,” said RCMP Sgt. Kevin Lewis.
“The RCMP would like to express our condolences to his family and friends."
