RCMP in Fort Good Hope, N.W.T., have arrested a suspect in a weekend shooting in the community.
Police got a call Saturday at about 11:49 p.m. reporting shots fired outside a residence. Police said the incident was the result of a dispute between two people known to one another.
The victim received non-life-threatening injuries was treated at the community’s health centre and released.
Police said the suspect is scheduled to appear before a Justice today.
