RCMP and the Yellowknife Fire Department are investigating two fires they say were deliberately set at Ptarmigan Apartments last weekend.
The fire department and RCMP responded just after 5 a.m. on Sunday, Sept. 30 to a report of two separate fires at the apartment building on the third and fourth floors.
The building was evacuated and firefighters put out the fires. There were no injuries.
The sprinkler systems were set off and caused water damage to the main, second and third floors.
Anyone with information is asked to contact the Yellowknife RCMP detachment or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477.
