Man charged after assault in Whitehorse

A man in Whitehorse has been charged in connection to a serious incident in the McIntyre subdivision last week.
Last Friday, police allege a man ran over George Stewart with an ATV. The incident happened on Hannah Crescent in the Kwanlin Dun Village.
Stewart remains in hospital in Vancouver.
Tyler Tom Tom, 20, faces several charges in relation to the incident. His charges are of assault with a weapon, dangerous driving causing bodily harm, and leaving the scene of an accident.
He is being held in custody and will appear in court Friday.
