Former N.W.T. teacher Hugues Latour, pictured here in January 2009 in Inuvik, now faces two charges each of possessing and making child pornography.
A former Inuvik teacher is facing new child pornography charges.
Hugues Latour, 39, was already charged with making child pornography and possessing child pornography.
In Yellowknife Tuesday, the prosecutor revealed that a second complainant has come forward with similar allegations.
Latour has been charged with another count each of making and possessing child pornography.
In May Latour was sentenced to 60 days in jail for assault and forcible confinement stemming from an incident in 2011 when he pushed a 17-year-old girl with whom he was in a relationship.
The following week, another N.W.T. judge found him not guilty on similar charges against the same girl.
Latour is also awaiting trial on charges of sexual assault, sexual interference with a minor and abduction.
A preliminary inquiry will be held to determine if there is enough evidence to go to trial on the charges of possessing and making child pornography. The date will be set July 3rd.
The inquiry will be conducted in French, in Inuvik.
Latour is in custody at the North Slave Correctional Facility.
