A Behchoko, N.W.T., man is $50,000 richer after winning big on a scratch-and-win ticket last week.
Kevin Kodzin was cashing in a small win in Yellowknife and bought another $20 ticket. He scratched it in his car and said he froze when he saw that he had won.
Kodzin said he plans to pay off some bills with his windfall.
He is the second person from Behchoko to have a major win in the last few months.
In April, another man also won $50,000.
