RCMP seize drugs, alcohol in 2 separate Yukon incidents

The RCMP in Faro, Yukon, and Ross River, Yukon, have arrested a 58-year old man.
They arrested him Friday on the Canol Road.
Police say he had a large quantity of alcohol and marijuana. He now faces charges of possession of a controlled substance.
In another incident, police got a warrant to search a home in Faro. They say they seized marijuana, money and paraphernalia to grow marijuana.
A 45-year-old woman faces trafficking and other charges related to that incident.
The RCMP have not released the names of the two people charged.
