Puvirnituq man charged with murder

A Nunavik man has been charged with second-degree murder in the stabbing death of his partner.
Police say they were called to the health centre in Puvirnituq, Que., the morning of Jan. 30. There, they found the body of 26-year-old Talasia Tukalak-Ivilla-Nutataluk.
34-year-old Putaugu Tukalak has been charged with second-degree murder and is being held in jail.
He's scheduled to appear in court on Feb. 13.
