A Whitehorse bar manager wants to see if local non-smokers are just blowing smoke.
Janice Lattin manages the Roadhouse bar in Whitehorse. She listened at a recent city council meeting where non-smokers promised to support no-smoking venues.

To test their sincerity, Lattin has decided her bar will go non-smoking for the month of August.
"I listened to all the non-smokers say they wanted a place," she says. "I just thought, okay, I'll give it to them for a month and see if they show up."
Lattin doubts they will. She's predicting her experiment will lose money.
But she says that unlike many other bars in town, she has a large outdoor deck where her smoking customers can light up.
