Sharon Pellisey is no longer the chief of the Pehdzeh Ki First Nation in Wrigley, N.W.T.

The band says she was removed by a vote of non-confidence at a meeting last night.

Albert Moses is sitting in as acting chief.

A by-election will take place on November 8th to elect a new chief and two vacant council seats.

Nominations for those positions close on November 4th.
