A search is underway for a Baker Lake man who has been missing since yesterday.

Kyle Netser is in his mid-twenties. The search team says he left the community yesterday morning on his snowmobile with a rifle but he has no survival gear.

Searchers started looking for him last night... and about 20 searchers are heading out today.

The Search and Rescue team is planning to set-up a base camp on the land.

Netser is believed to be about 24 kilometres from Baker Lake.
