Man alleged to have used handgun to commit 21 offences
A man is in custody in Iqaluit for allegedly using a handgun to commit 21 offences in Coral Harbour, Nunavut, on the weekend.
Police did not say what any of the alleged offences are.
Because of the high-risk to the public, the RCMP’s emergency response team travelled from Iqaluit to the community to help.
Police say they were able to locate the suspect with help from community members. They also recovered a .22 hand gun.
