RCMP are investigating a sudden death near Rankin Inlet, Nunavut, after a missing person was found dead.
Police say a man was reported missing from the community on Saturday. Search and rescue personnel and RCMP found the man's body Tuesday afternoon, six kilometres outside the community.
Police say temperatures during the search were between -30 C and -40 C.
There is no word yet on the cause of death.
Nunavut's Chief Coroner is also investigating the death.
