Police are searching for a 22-year-old student from Nunavut who has gone missing in Kingston, Ont.


Police in Kingston, Ont., say they are concerned about the welfare of Ken Kilabuk, a 22-year-old student from Pangnirtung, Nunavut, who has gone missing. (Kingston Police)

Ken Kilabuk was last seen Tuesday morning. Police in Kingston are not providing any other details about the search, saying only that they are concerned about Kilabuk's safety. They are asking anyone with information to contact them.

Kilabuk is from Pangnirtung and his family has told CBC he is a student at St. Lawrence College.

A college official, Rick Anderson, said the school will co-operate fully with the police.

"We have heard about the unfortunate situation and that Ken is missing," Anderson said. "We are deeply concerned and we hope for the best and hope this gets resolved really quickly."
