Nunavut MLAs met in Kugluktuk last week to set their priorities for the fourth legislative assembly.
Premier Peter Taptuna says they selected four themes that include 25 action points.
The four themes are self-reliance through education, healthy families, economic growth and good government.
"It's more or less education as a top priority and self-reliance, and a couple other things we discussed pertaining to the full caucus agenda," he said. "That being fixed election dates, code of conduct and a couple other things."
The mandate is called Sivumut Abluqta: Stepping Forward Together. It will be tabled during the upcoming winter legislative sitting that begins next week.
