An Alaskan woman who went missing at the end of July has been found safe and sound by the RCMP in Yukon.
60-year-old Alaskan woman Kyong Lucas was reported as missing after she failed to return home after a medical appointment on July 31. Her car was found in Haines Junction, Yukon in the parking lot of the cultural centre the next day.
Her family was concerned because she has health problems which may cause her to become confused and disoriented.
On Wednesday, the Anchorage Police Department confirmed to CBC News that the RCMP had located her in a shelter. She was described as "alive and well."
