Nunavut RCMP are asking for the public's help to piece together the last days of a Kimmirut woman who was found dead in Iqaluit over the Easter long weekend.

Mialia Lyta, 29, was found dead by police on Saturday at around 11 a.m., after they responded to a report of an unresponsive female in Apex, a satellite community of Iqaluit.

Police say no foul play is suspected. The RCMP are assisting the coroner's office in its investigation and an autopsy has been ordered to determine the cause and manner of death.

Police are asking anyone with information on what Lyta was doing and who she was with in the days leading to her death, specifically Friday and Saturday, to call the Iqaluit Detachment at 867-975-0123 or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477.
