Man found dead in Lutselk'e, N.W.T.
Police do not consider death suspicious
The coroner's office of the Northwest Territories is investigating the death of a man in Lutselk'e.
Justin Catholique, 31, was found dead in his home Thursday afternoon.
RCMP Cpl. Jesse Gilbert said Catholique was found by the family, who called the health centre immediately.
"We are not considering it suspicious at this point. We have been dealing with the coroner services in Yellowknife and the body has been flown to Edmonton for an autopsy to find out what happened exactly," said Gilbert.
Efforts to resuscitate him were unsuccessful.
The death came on the same day as a large hand games tournament and fishing derby were set to begin in the community.
Chief and council met with Catholique's family and decided he would have wanted to participate, so the games went ahead as planned.
