Restaurant workers at Whitehorse's High Country Inn have their first tentative contract agreement.
In August, the workers joined the United Association of Plumbers and Pipefitters.
The agreement covers bartenders, chefs, waiters and kitchen staff.
"It's going to ratification of both parties," said Matthew Magoffin, who represents the workers.
"So we'll have to get the document all together, and the membership will have to have a meeting, and I'll explain each proposal. And then they'll have to have a secret ballot vote."
Magoffin says it might be the first time restaurant workers in Whitehorse have unionized.
He's aiming for the workers to ratify the agreement by January.
