A Fort Providence man is back in court today to hear final arguments in his dangerous offender hearing.
The prosecutor is arguing to have Robert Walter Bonnetrouge kept in prison indefinitely.
Bonnetrouge was most recently convicted of sexually assaulting two teenage girls.
They were his fifth and sixth victims of sex crimes.
A psychiatrist examined Bonnetrouge and testified during an earlier hearing that the 35-year-old is a high risk to sexually assault others if released.
If the judge declares Bonnetrouge a dangerous offender he will be kept in prison until authorities are convinced he's no longer a danger to the public.
